We have some really exciting new additions to the accessories world when it comes to the 2023 Ranger!  The fourth generation takes a lot of its inspiration from the American F-150 version and will come with a selection of new engines and aggressive designs. The 2023 Ford Ranger is set for a November 2022 release date, with the first vehicles on schedule to reach showrooms in December. So what’s new? The new generation like its American cousin the F-150 is going to be bigger, bolder, and more aggressive than its predecessor. The newly designed model will offer a sleeker modern look with lots of new exterior features. This includes a new futuristic design front grille and a LED C-clamp headlight design. It will also come with broader wheel arches that will give the Ranger that added aggressive stance. At the rear, the taillights are designed in comparison with the features in the front. Along with new exterior features, the next-gen Ranger will be physically bigger than the prior Ranger having a wheelbase 50mm longer. Ford has also added a new luxurious touch with the introduction of a sunroof, this will offer new owners a better view overhead and more natural light than what the regular glass area would provide. Plus, it is more cost-effective than air conditioning. While being aesthetically pleasing the new Ranger will still remain beneficial for people that will be using it for commercial use, with such features as the tailgate. The Ranger’s new tailgate will also double as a mobile workbench, this will include an integrated ruler and clamp pockets to add extra carrying ability. When it comes to the interior of the new Ranger, Ford has continued to excel. New owners will appreciate what Ford has done to enhance its interior, they have made their interior more practical and have increased the vehicle’s overall technology by introducing a new entertainment system. This includes one of the more advanced features, a new portrait touchscreen that sits on the dashboard. This has been enlarged from the previous model 8 inches to 10.1 inches as the standard, customers will also have the opportunity to upgrade to 12.0 inches. Along with the new improved screen, there will the availability of a digital instrument cluster for the first time. Dividers have been implemented to make the Ranger’s Space & cargo management more efficient, this will allow room for a series of different sized items such as toolboxes. As standard, the new Ford Ranger will come with the 2-litre Eco Blue diesel engine option, along with the new 2.3-litre petrol engine. Drivers that are more environmentally aware are not forgotten about, with Ford set to develop a hybrid model after the initial launch of the next-generation model. Ford’s formidable Ranger Raptor model will come as tough as ever. The all-new Raptor is going to be equipped with a twin-turbocharged V6. The new Raptor’s chassis in comparison to the standard Ford Ranger is designed to maximize off-road performance with reinforced integrated components and body protection features throughout the vehicle. To optimize the Raptor’s new set-up they have introduced Baja mode. Baja mode was designed for maximum performance when driving off-road, with things like throttle response and shift quality sharpened to improve the overall sporting feel of the vehicle. Is the 2023 Ford Ranger worth waiting for?While the 2022 Ford F-150 has its fair share of Raptor models, from the 450-horsepower 'regular' to the 5.2L Supercharged Raptor R, it's the smaller 2023 Ranger Raptor that piques our interest.
