Asus laptop model numbers explained

This is all so confusing... why does nowhere just have simple table-style listings of searchable, comparable specs? Is there some guide somewhere to what all these numbers mean? I can't figure it out.

What's the difference between a GL502VT, GL502VS, GL502VW. And what about GL502VW and GL552VW? I've only just started grasping MSI numbering... now this. Their website is a nightmare to navigate and constantly shifting depending on what country you choose.

From what I can tell, G is just gaming-series, and the first number is the screen size. Other than that, I'm lost. I'd really appreciate if anybody could point me towards answers.
