Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet [43] La Favorite: Review and Swatches
I don't own many Chanel products, but the moment I tried these on I know I'm hooked to them like crazy. My bestie Krithi from //itskrisworld.blogspot.in used to rave and rave about chanel and now I know why!
I wanted an orange lipstick to be honest but then I settled to this gorgeous Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in [43] La Favorite.
First of all, I find this classic chanel packaging absolutely gorgeous! Black and gold with a logo on top.. Totally luxe I tell you.
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet are Chanel's matte offerings. They have about 11 shades with that finish and are priced at INR 2100[prices may increase from may]
La Favorite is a gorgeous orange-coral shade that is just perfect for summers and right up the orange trend too. What I absolutely like about the color is it flatters a lot of skin tones which is great right!
The finish of the lipstick is satin/velvety finish. This is an absolutely non-drying matte lipstick with a light sheen. The application is quite effortless on well prepped lips the lipstick glides effortlessly . However if you have extremely dry lips I suggest you to scrub them and apply a lip balm prior to the lipstick application. Else it can be very unforgiving and looks dirty. The lipstick is very lightweight in texture and doesn't feel heavy at all.
I absolutely love how beautifully this lipstick is pigmented. Just one swipe and it gives a good color pay off..the color can be builded for more intense look without looking cake-y. The lipstick lasts for about 4-5 hours with minimum fading which I think is good. This lipstick has a faint rose scent which I love.
Overall, I am totally impressed by the chanel lipstick. I will definitely recommend this Rouge Allure Velvet Range and this shade too...
I would rate this 5/5

Product Review: Parachute Gold Coconut Hair Cream
Post by Suryatapa C. I have thin hair which tends to get oily towards the scalp and dry towards the ends. Typical conditioners tend to make my scalp even more oily or I end up having an issue with the product residue. So, I was looking for a hair cream which could be used as a leave-in moisturiser, conditioner, detangler and also something with less product build-up and that's when I found Parachute Gold Coconut Hair Cream which claims to provide extra nourishment to the hair. Parachute has always been a trusted brand for hair care products and I have never heard anything in contrary! Most of their products have a coconut base and coconut is known to have abundance of moisturising properties. So I decided to try this out.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine [91] Boheme ~ Review and Swatches
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine [91] Boheme When I tried Chanel ,I knew for sure I was gonna get addicted to them. I was in Bangalore for almost a month and almost every week I went to the chanel counter and tried makeup on and I fell heads over heels in love with the Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks. The thing with these are a few are super pigmented and some are very sheer. I kinda liked both the offerings.

Love love love. This is “creme de la creme” of lipsticks. My favorite shade from the range is 66 L’Indomabile and let me tell you, this is the most STUNNING red with a hint of orange/coral that...

I only have one shade of this lipstick, but it is really nice. It has an interesting texture: it feels a little silicone-y, but in a nice way. It's very soft on the lips, and it isn't a dry looking...

Is Chanel lipstick worth it?
The Pros: Delivers long-lasting colour, great shade range and you don't get that dry, chalky feeling that some mattes create after swiping them on a few times. The Cons: The price means it's not an impulse buy. Our verdict: Worth your hard-earned cash as there's a shade to suit everyone and a little goes a long way.
What is the most expensive Chanel lipstick?
31 LE ROUGE. The most exclusive lipstick from the House, inspired by an iconic address: 31 rue Cambon, the birthplace of CHANEL creation.
What is the best Chanel red?
Chanel Luminous Intense Lip Colour There are a dozen perfect red shades in Chanel's arsenal, but Pirate is by far the most fun to say. It uses sappan wood to keep lips smooth and hydrated, with a satin finish that's not overly shiny.
