Dell laptop won t stay on

Trouble with laptop staying on.

It would provide us more insight if you could explain how long the unit remains powered on after you power it up. Are you talking about the unit failing to stay powered up when on battery duty? Have you tried powering the laptop off the power brick/adapter in another wall socket/room to rule out a faulty outlet?
