Skin Type: Dry/Dehydrated EDS skin, Very prone to closed comedones and some hormonal acne.
I've yet to actually find a worst product from Hada Labo, I've enjoyed everything I've ever used from them, even the things I don't use any more.
Best:
Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion
I've used this everyday for the last five years [previously using the standard Gokujyun lotion for another two - also very nice but I prefer the Premium] and it's the one thing I will nearly always apply. It just really boosts hydration and my thirsty skin really likes it, and because I'm good at laying I've never had it pull the moisture from my skin.
Before I used HA of any kind I had terrible flaking and my skin would actually rip when I let it fully dry due to my EDS. It's still rather tear friendly to this day but rarely flakey due to my routine.
Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing Foam
My workhorse face cleanser that isn't stripping and doesn't sting or cause reactions. A bland favourite where a little goes an insanely long way due to the pump being what turns the formula into a foam. Just bought yet another refill bag.
Hada Labo Gokujyun Cleansing oil
After my It's Skin Green Tea Calming Cleansing oil became super hard to find in the UK for a while I swapped to this cleansing oil and I really like it. It's not irritating, emulsifies well, removes makeup and sunscreen, doesn't leave residue behind and pulls out the grits better than the It's Skin. I'll probably keep purchasing it for the foreseeable future.
Just thought I'd do a little review of the Hada Labo products I have. I got my products from different places hence the different languages.

1.Hada Labo cleansing oil - 7/10
Purchased in: Hong Kong
It's an ok cleansing oil, but tbh I don't know how to rate cleansing oils - I mean it does its job in removing make up and sunscreens, and doesn't irritate, and then it gets washed off anyway. I did buy this a few years back and continued using it past the expiry date … not gonna scare anyone with the actual expiry date 😅 i don't wear heavy make up though so can't judge for that
2.Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic acid face foam - 8/10
Purchased in: Japan
I used to use the non-foaming version, but i think the packaging changed or something i can't find it anymore. This face foam is much better as it doesn't dry up my skin. May still be too drying for dry or sensitive skins though, I only use it as 2nd cleanser after the cleansing oil.
3.Hada Labo Gokujyun hyaluronic acid lotion moist 10/10
Purchased in: Japan
My HG have been using this for 10+ years, i didnt know people were raving about this until i joined this sub. It's awesomely hydrating. I tried the light version but it did nothing for me. My sister has dry skin and she loves the premium version.
4.Hada Labo gokujyun perfect gel 8/10
Purchased in: Japan
I have had ups and downs with this product. I didnt know this product existed until i dug deeper into skin care last year, and how people raved so much about this, so i was excited to get this in Japan. I was super disappointed when i opened it up to try in Japan, because it just stayed on my face and did nothing, was like a layer of cling wrap. Mind you that was winter in japan and it was dry as there. I tried it again when i got back to australia, and it was worse because it was summer and humid, i couldnt sleep properly with a layer of it on my face, so i gave up. Then after a few months of using exfoliants from my skincare research, i tried it again in current Australian cold-ish weather, and it's super nice now! I think my face was just not ready for it back then, but now i fully understand what people meant by that it plumped up their skin. I still only use it just like a sleeping mask instead of a moisturiser though, and i don't use it every night. It's a big tub so i think it would last me the whole of winter lol.
5.Hada Labo hyaluronic acid cream 4/10
Purchased in: online, ebay shipped from japan
I got this after trying out the perfect gel and thought it might be a lighter version of the perfect gel, but no it was worse. It's sticky and film-like on my skin, and doesn't hold in moisture. I'm just trying to finish it up now before i get another moisturiser.
