I've been using the chrome remote desktop app to remote access my computer for a long time with no issues. The other day for some reason though, after entering my pin to access my computer the app would not switch from the numerical keyboard to the qwerty keyboard. The app used to do this automatically without issue. I now cannot type anything on my computer using letters, only numbers making this once great app useless to me now. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. I am using windows 10 on my desktop, and a Samsung Galaxy S8+. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted the app and the device multiple times on both machines. Screenshot attached. I used to use a Galaxy S6 and had no issues at all. I can't figure out any way to even force the alphanumeric keyboard... it's just stuck on numbers only.
Edit: As a work around, I was able to get it back by repeatedly rotating my screen between landscape and portrait. Eventually it worked in landscape view, and then continued working in Portrait view. I am trying to access my PC via chrome remote access app but cannot enter letters the app won't let us. My pin has letters and numbers as the PC app let me type them in. No good if android app keyboard won't activate letters as well as numbers. Crazy. This breaks the previously typed in data function of windows and without being able to see what I have typed I have to type things over and over again if I make a mistake which is eay to do in the small virtual keyboard. This app has basically become useless now.
