5.0 out of 5 stars Canada's true national dish

We ordered this to celebrate Canada Day 2020 when the border was closed due to Covid. Kraft Dinner predates poutine by about 2 decades. It pairs well with Angry Canadian cocktails [maple syrup old-fashioneds] and butter tarts.

I used to love KD when I lived in Canada, this pack didn’t taste like I remember at all. It tasted exactly like the American Mac n’ cheese

After hearing about Kraft Dinner from multiple sources, including a certain Adult Humor cartoon show. We decided to Order some.
In comparing this with the american kraft macaroni, there are some differences. The noodles are thinner, and the portion seems even larger! The cheese sauce is still powder, but it has a distinct taste difference. I liked it a lot. My girlfriend, who is truly a Mac and Cheese aficionado, said that she could not say that she liked it better than the american style, but it definitely it's equal, and great change up every now and again. [It actually has changes to the ingredients list when compared to the american version ]
Myself, I can see why this is popular with our Neighbor to the North, and will be ordering more!

I'm a huge Mac n cheese fan. I was beyond excited to try our friends to the north version. It's well known and talked about that this version is better. That being said. This stuff has a funny tatse to it. Smells weird too. The box says it expires 2022. So I doubt it's expired. Just all around disappointed.

I wanted to know the difference between Canadian Kraft dinner and American macaroni and cheese. The difference was slight to me but was fun trying them both!

It was worth ordering, tastes and cooks differently than American Kraft Mac n Cheese.

Don't know where they found the boxes. Love KD however would hesitate to order again considering what I received on my latest order from this past weekend is best before three weeks from now. don't think I've ever bought a package in store that wasn't at least best before a few months. Have never returned an Amazon product yet, however if i order again and it's only good for a few weeks, meaning its been in a warehouse for who knows how long, I certainly would.
