+ Show number on first page [có hình vuông đứng trước]: Nếu chọn sẽ xuất hiện số trang ở trang đầu [số 1]. Nếu bỏ chọn thì chỉ từ trang thứ 2 trở đi mới xuất hiện số trang
Tiếp theo bấm vào nút format... -> hộp Page number format:
+ Chọn các kiểu đánh số trang.
+ Bấm chọn option Continue from previous section [nếu document có nhiều section [phần] thì số trang sẽ được đánh số liên tục. Nếu không chọn, mỗi lần xuất hiện 1 section mới, số trang sẽ đánh lại từ số 1].
+ Hoặc start at: - hộp - Có thể gõ vào số trang được bắt đầu đánh số trở về sau.
Rồi OK là xong.

- Đối Với Word 2007
+ Chọn Insert-->Pages Numbers-->Format Page Number
+ Xuất hiện hộp thoại, chọnContinue from previous section--> chọnOK
- Đối Với Word 2003
+ ChọnInsert-->Page Number
+ Xuất hiện hộp thoại, chọnFormat
+ Xuất hiện hộp thoại chọnContinue from previous section-->OK-->OK

đối với word 2010:
Mở file chèn số trang bị lỗi. Chọn File -->Options
Sau đó sẽ xuất hiện một hộp thoại được hiện ra, trong tab Advanced, bạn hãy bỏ dấu tích trong mục show fields codes instead of theirs values. Sau đó nhấn vào OK để lưu lại thiết lập. Cuối cùng bạn cần thực hiện lại các thao tác đánh số trang của văn bản.

bạn vào file ->> option, trong tab advanced, bạn bỏ tích trong mụcshow fields codes instead of theirs values và nhấn ok là xong nhé.
