Juliette is overcome with grief after the death of her 6-year-old daughter. - Seemingly well-off white woman's life is destroyed when her child is murdered in a school shooting, but she is able to move forward with her life after having philosophical discussions with an inexplicably time displaced Anne Frank. It's an absolutely bizarre premise that I'm not sure any film could be smart enough to justify. This one just leaves you wondering why this needed to exist in every scene. It's also 90% just two characters having conversations in the same house and these conversations aren't engaging enough to make this the type of "so bad it's good" viewing that one might hope for from such a misguided premise. Added weirdness comes from seeing that the Anne Frank actress also just starred in one of 2022's best "so bad it's good" movies: Grimcutty.

That may not be true of all bad movies--one cannot detect a hint of emotion behind, say, the collected Transformers series--but one can certainly feel the echo here, in a film that is deeply felt and terribly, terribly executed.

This is writer-director Matt Sivertson’s first film, and he and his cast and crew are able to offer only a maudlin drama that inspires eye rolls rather than tears.

Our Call: STREAM IT. All For Love is pure escapism, for sure. But you'll be so charmed by the leads and the chemistry they have you'll want to root for their characters to be happy.

Theo is a jealous husband and constantly fears Susanna, a successful Hollywood actress, is cheating on him. The family books a vacation in Wales, but there is something strange about the house—time passes unusually fast, and everybody experiences nightmares while staying there.

Certainly You Should Have Left doesn't break any new ground, but it's a fine example of a solidly creepy chiller that should please horror hounds.
