New colours have been announced by Suzuki for the 2023 Hayabusa, SV650, and SV650X. Show The SV650 has been around for over 20 years now, and it has been widely anticipated to be replaced for next year. We recently wrote about a potential SV650 replacement that had been spotted out testing on public roads with a camouflage livery. But, Suzuki has announced new colours for the 2023 SV650 and SV650X. Between the two motorcycles, there are four new colours, with one for the SV650X and three for the SV650. Specifically, for 2023, the SV650 will be available in grey and black (with grey frame and red wheels); dark blue (with bronze frame and wheels); and black (with bronze frame and wheels, above). On the side of the SV650X, the new colour available for the 2023 model year is a metallic silver option (above). For the Suzuki Hayabusa, the new colour options for 2023 - arguably regrettably - do not include a replica of the Yoshimura SERT livery that was painted on the Hayabusa given to Sylvain Guintoli as a ‘thank you’ gift from Suzuki for the Frenchman’s work on the GSX-RR MotoGP bike; and in the Yoshimura SERT Endurance World Championship team which won Le Mans, the Bol d’Or and the World Championship in 2021, and has a shot at the same this year. They do, though, include a dark grey option with red accents (top of page); a “revised,” Suzuki says, white option with more notable blue accents than before (above); and an all-black option with chrome trim (below). Unsurprisingly, the Hayabusa - which technically remains the same as the updated version that was introduced last year - is the most expensive of the three bikes. The 2023 model will retail for £16.999. On the other end of the scale is the SV650, costing £6,999, while the SV650X will cost £7,399. What’s new in the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa?There are three new colour combinations available: Pearl Vigour Blue/Pearl Brilliant White, Metallic Mat Black/Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Thunder Grey/Candy Daring Red. On the sides of the motorcycle, Busa’s iconic graphics are still present. All other equipment remains the same on the motorcycle, with no mechanical changes.  In 2023, Hayabusa will have a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, inline-four engine that can produce 187 horsepower at 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Additionally, the motorcycle gets a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) and a variety of electronic rider aids. Suzuki’s USP is the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S. ), which has three riding modes and three user-defined modes, with fully adjustable settings for traction control, anti-lift, engine brake control, etc. Also read: Honda ADV350 and Vario 160 are patented in India When converted to Indian currency, the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa is priced at $ 18,799, which is approximately Rs 14.59 lakh. Currently, the Hayabusa costs * 16.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. There is a possibility that the Hayabusa will soon be introduced in other markets, such as India. As expected, the 2023 models will be slightly more expensive than the current models. - Suzuki Hayabusa updated for 2023 - Gets new colour options - Likely to be launched in India soon Suzuki Motorcycle has taken the wraps off the 2023 Hayabusa for international markets. Now, the only updates to the Hayabusa for 2023 are three new colour schemes. It is available in a blacked-out paint scheme called Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black. Then there is the Metallic Thunder Grey colour with Candy Daring Red accents on the front end, side panel and rear seat cowl. In addition to that, there is the Pearl Vigour Blue with Pearl Brilliant White option too. However, apart from the new colours, there is no other change that the 2023 Hayabusa receives. It continues to come powered by the impressive 1340cc, inline-four engine that churns out 188bhp and 150Nm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets a two-way quick shifter as standard. As for features, Suzuki has equipped the Hayabusa with a six-axis IMU, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, five riding modes, launch control, and cruise control. Further it also gets a traction control system, engine brake control, anti-lift control, as well as low RPM assist function, an active speed limiter and hill/slope control. The Suzuki Hayabusa is on sale in India currently but is available in limited slots. We can expect the 2023 model to be launched here too sometime closer to the festive season in August or September.
