Belgian Grand Prix – A brief history of F1 at Spa

The Belgian Grand Prix has been around since Formula 1 started organising official World Championships (1950). There are also plenty of reasons to be enthusiastic about visiting Formula 1 in Belgium. The Belgian GP marks yet another classic on the F1 calendar with perhaps the most famous corner of the lot: Eau Rouge. The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is still regularly voted as the best by drivers from all over the world. It is one of the most legendary motorsport tracks.

The Spa F1 circuit contains 19 turns and measures 7,004 meters long. It is therefore the longest lap on the Formula 1 calendar. The track follows the natural slopes of the Ardennes landscape. The circuit is extremely popular with the drivers, partly due to the challenges that some of the corners offer. A good example is definitely the aforementioned Eau Rouge.

Just wanted to say massive thank you to you and all the team for a great weekend at the Belgium Grand Prix. The organisation on your part for the whole trip was absolutely seamless and you made our first f1 experience one to remember. The tips on what to do and where go at the circuit from Nick were invaluable as we could have spent a huge amount of time wandering around and not really seeing anything, so big thanks to Nick. What was particularly nice was that on the trip home Nick made sure we all knew what we were doing at Brussels station which is not the easiest of places to navigate. Hotel was super, coach transfers spot on and all in all a great value for money trip. The icing on the cake was that Max won from 14th on the grid which my Tom was made up about. Will most certainly use your services again and will recommend you to all friends and colleagues.

My group were super impressed with the organisation of the trip from beginning to end. The hotel and staff were brilliant considering the sudden influx of people after each day and the food was so good no one wanted the go elsewhere to eat. The coach drivers were also extremely good (Mohamed in particular, who went above and beyond to get us back when there had been an accident on the motorway).
