To view your Amazon.com.au Gift Card balance:

  1. Go to Your Account.
  2. Select Gift cards and view the balance on any of your Amazon.com.au Gift Cards.

Note:

  • Some physical gift cards bought from Amazon.com.au don't come with values printed on them. In this case, you can view the value by going to Your Orders. In Your Orders, find the gift card order, and compare the 16-digit serial number (located beside the gift card amount) in the order details to the serial number on the back of the gift card.
  • You can review all changes to your balance in the transaction section of your Balance Page, including order IDs or serial numbers.
  • Your Gift Card balance doesn’t include possible promotional certificates added to your account. Please review the Amazon Gift Card Terms and Conditions to make sure that your item is eligible, when your balance is not provided as payment method during checkout. Orders for digitally delivered gift cards (E-Mail) are typically fulfilled in less than 5 minutes of successful completion of your order.

For payment security reasons, in certain circumstances, email delivery may be delayed by 1-2 hours. Such as when a new payment method is used or when an order is placed with a large quantity or dollar amount. In rare circumstances, delivery may take up to 24 hours. Customers may cancel their order prior to electronic delivery.

If you wish, you can also specify a delivery date up to one year in advance of the purchase date. If you schedule a future delivery date, you'll be charged 1-2 days before your e-mail gift card is delivered. We'll send you an e-mail reminder when the delivery date nears.

There are certain restrictions with the use of Amazon.com.au Gift Cards, such as not being able to purchase other gift cards using your Amazon.com.au Gift Card and not being able to transfer them to another account once the claim code has been redeemed.

If you have trouble applying your gift card balance to an order which includes other gift cards, please try removing the gift cards from the order and purchasing them separately via a different payment method.

Amazon.com.au Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase, or applied to any order containing certain ineligible goods and services such as collectible coins, subscriptions or other gift cards.

Neither your Amazon.com.au Balance nor your Gift Cards may be applied to the purchase of products at www.amazon.com, www.amazon.at, www.amazon.com.br, www.amazon.ca, www.amazon.cn, www.amazon.de, www.amazon.es, www.amazon.fr, www.amazon.in, www.amazon.it, www.amazon.co.jp, www.amazon.com.mx, www.amazon.nl, www.amazon.co.uk, or any website other than the website(s) listed in Section 1 above. Your Amazon.com.au Balance cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. No portion of your Amazon.com.au Balance may be transferred to another Amazon.com.au account.

The goods and services eligible for purchase with your gift card are subject to change from time to time. You'll need to provide a credit card, debit card, or other valid payment method to pay for the order if you have ineligible items in your Shopping Cart. Amazon.com.au Gift Cards can't be transferred to another account once the claim code has been redeemed. Amazon.com.au Gift Cards aren't returnable or refundable for change of mind, except as required by law.
