Reset to Factory Settings: This option restores the original factory-installed operating system and software that was shipped with the computer. The local recovery image is available only on consumer platforms such as Alienware, Inspiron, Vostro, and XPS products. Reset and update: This option uses cloud restore. It downloads and installs the most recent operating system and requires an active Internet connection.
