This is the 6th review for the blog dedicated entirely to The Body Shop products! So as promised in previous review, today I will review the 3rd and final product I got from the Tea Tree range! The description for the Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Daily Solution by the Body Shop on their website is: ‘Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution is a lightweight, pre-serum concentrate that combats breakouts and improves the overall condition of skin. After 4 weeks, skin looks and feels purified, clearer, smoother, healthier, clarified, mattified and soothed with reduced redness and imperfections. This daily solution battles breakouts with its easily absorbed key ingredient, pure tea tree oil.
This product retails for 22$ on their website but I got it on a discounted price for 15.4$ which is a great deal! Each bottle consists of 50 ml product. It helps to address blemished skin concerns, also improves the overall condition of our skin. Let’s talk about the ingredients now. Tea Tree Oil: Of course the range is called Tea Tree range, so there is Tea Tree Oil in it. Tea Tree Oil helps in reducing blemishes and is found to be very effective for acne prone skin! Sodium Hyaluronate: This is an ingredient found in most anti ageing creams and is found to reduce fine lines and wrinkles! It also treats severe acne! It also helps in softening the skin as it moisturizes! Xanthan gum: Helps in hydrating the skin. Leptospermum petersonii oil: In easy words, it is a lemon scented tea tree which gives us essential oil. When blended with tea tree oil, it not only gives a refreshing citrus-y smell but also helps in skin hydration. Hydrogenated castor oil: Treats Acne. Now you know about the major ingredients, let’s talk about the packaging. The packaging is simple. This product also follows the green, white and black theme as all the other Tea Tree products in the body shop range. It comes with a dropper, helping us to take out the right quantity. It smells pretty much like the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial wash, but I find this product to be more pungent smelling. My mom says it smells like medicine. Does it work like medicine? Totally! If you are using this thing twice a day, you will notice the results very soon! My mom saw improvement in her fine lines as well. I actually got this for her for hyperpigmentation but later realized I was supposed to get some other range instead of the Tea Tree one. (LESSON LEARNT: NEVER BUY ANYTHING WHEN YOU’RE IN RUSH!) But anyway, my mom found this effective in reducing hyperpigmentation too but to a very slight extent. I have used this as well and it mattifies the skin just like the other Tea Tree products. It reduces extra shine and oil from my face. I found it effective for my pimples too and they faded away like magic in just 2 days as I used the Skin Clearing Facial Wash and the 3 in 1 Wash Scrub Mask religiously. It’s finally over and I found it reallyyy hard to stick with only one brand throughout a month because I don’t know how many things I found in my makeup stash that deserved a review! One thing’s for sure, I reaallyy liked the idea of this “Month Thingy” and who knows, I might be doing another one soon?
