With a rich history spanning more than 50 years and a legacy of producing more than 750 graduates, the University of Florida’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning is honored to receive this recognition from Planetizen, a respected authority in the urban planning industry. The Department is home to the nation’s first and only accredited online MURP program, which now has more than 100 high-impact graduates across the last 11 years.

The 7th Edition of Planetizen’s Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs, recently released, provides a comprehensive ranking of the top 25 master’s programs in urban planning, city planning, regional planning, and community planning. This latest edition of the guide represents an extensive data collection effort, encompassing information from 69 participating programs and input from hundreds of educators.
