Show Ford Bronco reservation holders have exercised extreme patience over the past few years. Luckily, the wait might be over for some, as the production schedule for the 2023 model year Bronco has slipped onto the internet. So customers should be watching their emails and phones with the hope that they’ll be on the list. 2023 Ford Bronco Production Week: DetailsA document posted to the Bronco6G forum states that Ford Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan will start scheduling for 2023 Ford Bronco production Thursday, October 6th. The immediate weeks slotted for 2023 Ford Bronco production are as follows:
 That is the entire month of November, during which customers may have their vehicles scheduled to be built/produced once scheduling begins in the next few days. If you’ve already received word that your Bronco will be produced during the weeks listed above, you can ignore the list as it pertains to the scheduling of future production weeks. It’s also important to note that if you already have a VIN and your build is scheduled for this week, this doesn’t mean you’ll be getting a 2023 Bronco. Ford has announced that they won’t immediately take retail orders for new customers for the 2023 Bronco. Instead, the order books are only open for those with an existing reservation or for those that are current order holders. The goal is to start chewing through the high demand that has accumulated over the past two years since the Ford Bronco first debuted. Those who have been waiting for such a long time are undoubtedly frustrated but have shown extreme patience to receive their highly capable SUV. People that have already received their orders have made it clear that it is well worth the wait. Two years after Ford launched the Bronco, industrial woes — and, admittedly, Ford's own allocation calculus — remain so woeful that the automaker still can't build enough Broncos to satisfy demand. There are people who reserved a Bronco 2.5 years ago that still don't have their trucks. As one poster wrote on the Bronco6G forum, "It's just a sick joke for my friends now. 'WhEN aRE yOu gETTinG yOUr BrOnCo?!?'" Elsewhere on Bronco6G, someone noted a YouTube video posted by Long McArthur Ford with information on when order banks will open for the 2023 Bronco and how Ford will be running the show differently this year. According to that intel, order banks for next year's rig will open on September 12 but only for those with existing reservations. From September 12 until November 14, that large and increasingly unruly band of long-suffering shoppers will have the chance to convert their reservations into orders for the 2023 Bronco. That would give Ford clear figures on how large the backlog is before any new customer orders come in. The crystal ball stops at November 14, the last day for order conversions. The expectation is that this is when retail orders will open, but that's not certain. Ford could find that between converted orders and dealer stock orders it already has the bulk of planned production for 2023 covered, and wait until next year to open retail orders. And remember, Dirt Mountain, the holding lot outside the Michigan Assembly Plant where Broncos pile up and endure the elements while they wait to be finished, is still a thing; it started as Dirt Mountain last year, turned to Ice Mountain over the winter, and is now back to Dirt Mountain. A poster mentioned their Bronco being stuck there from January 31 until June 4 this year. Nevertheless, we can't imagine Ford skipping a 2023 retail window, even though the list of things facts on the ground that we couldn't have imagined gets longer every week. How much will the Ford Bronco cost in 2023?Price: We expect the price of the 2023 Ford Bronco will start around $31,000 for the base 2-door model. The 4-door base Bronco is slightly more expensive at roughly $35,000.
