Full-screen presentations work from a computer, mobile device, or TV with Chromecast or AirPlay. You can even accept audience questions while you present.

View a presentation

To present a full-screen presentation in Google Slides:

  1. Open a presentation in Google Slides.
  2. In the top right, click Slideshow . For best results, present with Google Chrome.
  3. From the current slide, the presentation will become full screen. To change slides, use the arrow keys on your keyboard or click the arrows at the bottom of the presentation.
  4. To exit full-screen, press the Esc key.

  1. Open a presentation in Google Slides.
  2. In the top right corner, next to Slideshow , click the Down arrow

You can set your slides to play automatically when:

  • Someone clicks on a link to your published presentation
  • Someone views your published presentation that’s embedded in a website
  • You present your presentation

Important:

  • If you use Google Slides through work or school, you can only share the link with people within your organization.
  • After you publish your presentation, anyone with the link will be able to see your presentation.

  • Select slides to present from a list

How can we improve it?

To view your presenter notes during your presentation, play your slideshow in fullscreen mode on a connected display. Your notes appear only on your screen, so your audience can’t see them. You can also view presenter notes when you rehearse your presentation.

  1. With the presentation playing, click

    If you don’t see

    , move the pointer anywhere on the presenter display to make it appear.

  2. Select the Presenter Notes checkbox then click outside the dialog to close it.

  3. Do any of the following to change how the presenter notes look:

    • Change the size of the font: Move the pointer over the Presenter Notes window, then click one of the font buttons to make the font smaller or larger.

    • Invert the text and background colors: Move the pointer over the Presenter Notes window, then click the Invert Colors button to show white text on a black background or vice versa (other text colors aren’t affected).

To add or edit presenter notes while you play your presentation, move the pointer over the Presenter Notes window, then click Edit.

How do you show the view of how your notes will Print in PowerPoint?

Click File > Print. Under Settings, click the second box (which defaults to say Full Page Slides), then under Print Layout, click Notes Pages. Notes Pages prints one slide per page, with speaker notes below. The Preview Pane shows you what each layout option looks like.

How do you present so you can see your notes?

In Presenter view, you can see your notes as you present, while the audience sees only your slides. To change the size of the panes in Presenter View, point your mouse at the vertical line that separates them, then click and drag.

How do I Print notes view?

Click File > Print. Under Printer, choose the printer you want. Under Settings, next to Full Page Slides, select the down arrow, and under Print Layout, select Notes Pages.

What is a note page view?

In Notes Page view, you can embellish your notes with charts, pictures, tables, or other illustrations. (The following numbers correspond to the numbers in the illustration.) Notes pages include your notes and each slide in the presentation. Each slide prints on its own notes page.
