Indie Lee has three cleansers - the Brightening cleanser, Soothing cleanser and the Purifying cleanser. They're really a great size that lasts a while and they easily remove makeup.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Purifying Cleanser ($34)

The Purifying cleanser is most suitable for sensitive acne and blemish-prone skin. It has some lovely antioxidant ingredients that combat environmental stressors. The texture is gel-like but as you massage it into your skin it becomes lightly foamy. My skin feels refreshed and soft after and not dry and tight, just the way I like it.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser ($34)

The Brightening cleanser is suitable for all skin types. The texture is very similar to the Purifying face wash - gel-like which emulsifies into a nice lather. The scent though, is so good and brings a smile to my face every time I use it. The cleanser reminds me of sweet ripe strawberries on a hot summer afternoon - so so good, very gentle on the skin and I love that my face is soft and hydrated after I use it.

The Soothing Cleanser ($34)

The Soothing cleanser is great for compromised skin or oilier skin types. The texture is slightly more milky but it foams up just like the other two cleansers. The scent to this one is just a bit more rosy and citrusy at the same time and it helps with oiliness and clogged pores and texture and tone.

TONER

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner ($34)

Indie lee's COQ-10 toner is one of their best selling products. This spray bottle is not a fine mist but more of a true spray and I find I only need two to three sprays on my face. COQ-10 along with other ingredients like Aloe vera and Cucumber make it ideal for all skin types. It doesn't dry my skin like other toners can but my skin just feels soft and primed for the next step in my skincare routine.

PEEL PADS

Indie Lee makes two kinds of peel pads - the Radiance Renewal peel pads and the Gentle Daily peel pads.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Gentle Daily Peel ($65)

The peel pads in the Gentle Daily version are great for those with sensitive skin or those who want a gentle chemical exfoliation. Both sides of the pad have a smooth surface and it doesn't feel harsh on the skin at all. The 60 peel pads are pre-soaked in AHAs and BHAs, Vitamin C and other ingredients that aid in skin turnover and help remove dead skin while brightening. Great thing is that these are gentle enough to use every day if you like.

Indie Lee Radiance Renewal Peel ($70)

The Radiance Renewal peel pads are meant for those, like me who need a stronger exfoliation. Both sides of the pad are textured to help exfoliate better but it still doesn't feel rough or harsh these pads are pre-soaked in a combination of acids and other ingredients that promote smooth and radiant skin. My skin can tolerate chemical exfoliators well so I use one every day but do start off slowly on these.

MASKS

The Indie Lee line has two mask products - the Clearing Mask and the I- Waken Resurfacing mask.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Clearing Mask ($52)

The Clearing mask is really beneficial for those with oily, imperfection or blemish-prone skin as it's formulated with Bentonite clay, Colloidal sulfur, Salicylic acid and Glycolic acids which are meant to decongest pores and remove impurities. The texture is slightly thick but goes on evenly and conditions and hydrates the skin. I like to use this mask once a week to really decongest. It has this camphor scent that can be off-putting to some but it's weirdly comforting to me.

Indie Lee I-Waken Resurfacing Mask ($48)

The I-Waken Resurfacing mask on the other hand is for all skin types, especially dull or dry skin. BHAs, Bentonite clay and Vitamin C-rich ingredients exfoliate, smooth, hydrate and give a gorgeous glow. I let the mask do its thing for 5-10 minutes and my skin glows for the rest of the day. The texture of this mask is slightly thinner than the Clearing mask but this goes on evenly as well.

MOISTURIZERS

Next up are the moisturizers - the Superfruit facial cream and the Daily Skin nutrition.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Superfruit Facial Cream ($105)

The Superfruit facial cream is great for mature skin but can be used by anyone. Indie Lee calls it the ultimate smoothie for your skin and rightfully so! Vitamin C, Hyaluronic acid, AHAs and Peptides from berries and fruit extracts ensure that the skin is hydrated, smooth, plump and radiant. It's thick and luxurious and has quickly become my go-to moisturizer, as it is lightweight, sinks in effortlessly and goes well under makeup.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Daily Skin Nutrition ($80)

The Daily Skin Nutrition is a lightweight moisturizer meant for any skin type, even sensitive, oily and dry. Ingredients like Squalene, Avocado oil, Vitamin A,C and E and Hyaluronic acid make this a wonderful moisturizer for even toned hydrated and brighter skin. Plays well under makeup and is easily absorbed and isn't greasy at all.

OILS + SERUMS

Indie Lee has three oils and serums - the Stem cell serum, Daily vitamin infusion and the Squalane oil.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil ($34)

The Squalane oil is the hero of the brand and the one product that fans just can't get enough of. The oil is suitable for all skin types from the most sensitive to dry to oily. The Olive-derived Squalane oil is feather-light, well absorbed and not greasy, but so hydrating and plumping and will have you glowing for hours. This goes on really well under makeup and I find that I need just about two drops and not more.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Stem Cell Serum ($135)

I have been loving this one lately as you can probably tell by how little is left in this bottle. I have been using the Stem cell serum every day and it's really a wonderful serum that delivers some powerful anti-aging benefits with Echinacea stem cells, Alpine rose and Hyaluronic acid that plump, tone and tighten for radiant skin. The texture is kind of like Hyaluronic acid and sinks in effortlessly. The serum has helped plump, tone and tighten some of the areas on my face and I seriously love the results so far.

Indie lee stem cell serum review

Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion ($65)

The Daily vitamin infusion intensely moisturizes with Vitamins A, C and E, Ceramides and Squalane oil which improve elasticity, tone and texture and can be used by all skin types even sensitive skin. The texture is silky and lightweight and is absorbed very well and can be used with moisturizer and under makeup.

The final verdict - for me it was 100% YES! The products work wonderfully and do what they claim. That's why you'll be able to shop the Indie Lee collection on our site. Let me know if you love them as much as I do!

Does stem cell serum really work?

While plant-derived stem cell extracts can certainly have an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect, according to Dr Patel, “there is no evidence proving a clinical benefit in the way these products lead the consumer to believe – remember, plant stem cells cannot do in our body what they manage to in plants.”

We recommend using Stem Cell Serum 2-3 times per week in the evening onto freshly cleansed skin. Don't forget to fully massage the product into the skin to make sure every drop is soaked up and make sure to follow-up with a high-quality moisturizer to help lock it into place while you sleep.

Do stem cell moisturizers work?

The efficacy of stem cells in skin care depends on who you ask. Some dermatologists like Lupenko swear by them. “Stem cells have the potential to repair skin cells, and they also protect your skin from external factors and create a more youthful look,” she says.
