Cant give Popuri preserved flower

Yo, so I made this chick love me till red heart, but i cant give her preserved flower!

Is it a bug? Or did I do something wrong?

No, you dont need to be in the heart of the right color to see the events, since she is one red, you can see all her events, but you will only unlock them by order, i mean, you have to see the black heart events, them purple, then blue

Yes, you should get the event for the Preserved Flowers first.

Wait until Fall 1 to have Jeff waiting for you in front of your house and asking you to come to the store.
In the store, you will meet Basil and long story short, he will ask you about this rare red flower and the sprites will help you get them.

The story will happen if the general store is open so it won't happen on Sunday and Tuesday.

Looks like I'll have to play until fall comes around again to see if it triggers the event.

It doesn't have to be Fall. I got the preserved flower even in Spring as well. You just need a higher friendship points with Jeff and have at least view a blue heart event. Then you have to go in and out of your house after 9 am. And hopefully it should trigger the event.

Did you see his introduction, black heart event, Purple Heart event, and blue heart event? Did you show the preserved flower to any other guys?

Yes I saw all his heart events, but I did also show the flower to doctor😫

But I thought you could date more than one person at the same time...

1. i have given the flower and it’s been accepted by everyone in town so far minus Cliff, Karen, and Elly

2. I am on year 2 and cliff is already working at the winery

and he still won’t accept it!

edit: i didn’t see his proper cutscenes yet!!! all figured out :)

My theory is, since he has a special event where he either needs to get a job at the winery, or leaves (temporarily) town at the end of the year, in order to start dating him you'll have to help him get a job

That only happens during Fall. Also make sure you've befriended the people at the winery as well, so that they'll actually come to you looking for help so that you can direct them to Cliff

You can't even see his second heart event (or any of the ones afterwards) unless he has a job at the Winery, in this version. So you'd have to be at least past Autumn 14 to see all of his heart events and attempt to give him the Preserved Flower.

Have you seen his black heart (I think) event that only triggers in Fall? If he wont accept the preserved flower it’s because you’re missing a requirement. I hope you figure it out!

And yes, you can date everyone in this game.

I’m also having this problem. I’ve seen all his events and he’s at a yellow heart. Every other towns person has accepted the flower. Maybe you need a certain friendship level with carter too?

Edit: holy crap I didn’t trigger his blue heart event (as in I did trigger it and then reloaded the day and forgot to do it again) LOL

Same problem here, I have him at red heart and he won't accept it. He has the job at the winery, it's winter year one and the most recent event i had was Him passing out in the square and spending a few days at the clinic. I don't know if the events are supposed to be in a specific order? But I assumed this was the red heart event..

Edit: It was not the red heart event. I looked up the heart events and I haven't experienced most of them. Just was never in the right place at the right now. Going to hit them all up and try the flower again!

Okay, I am here...and I cannot get him to accept the flower. Just finished the clinic event. I have all the events so far. Before the clinic event I did the blue heart event. I know I've seen them all because you can't trigger the blue heart event without seeing all the previous ones. What am I doing wrong!?

Finally figured this out! I apparently didn't have enough points to push it to the green heart mark. Once I gave him chocolate on Valentine's Day, the heart turned green and he accepted the flower. Yay!

I had this problem too. Later, I realized you had to do the first 4 heart events (including the introduction). Hope this helps.
