Extreme Environmental Tests

Built to endure, anywhere

Extremes of temperature, altitude and humidity can be bad news for a laptop, so ASUS laptops go through a series of tough climatic tests to make sure they can survive in harsh environments, whether they're turned on or off*. We bake them at desert-like temperatures up to 60°C, freeze them down to a super-chilly -30°C, subject them to a steamy 90% humidity, and check if they can survive at dizzying altitudes of 40,000 feet nearly twice as high as Mount Everest!
