Elf mist and set matte review

While browsing the kmart beauty section (as you do) I came across a black square looking bottle in the e.l.f section named mist and set, of course I was interested and so I brought it home with me for a review.

The bottle is fairly minimal, apart from the e.l.f logo and name of the product there are no instructions (there is a little bit of a how to use on the box however) or other details. It looks like a much more expensive product than it was.

When I started spraying the product it had a large droplet size that took a while to dry but when it did it seemed to be locked down for the day. The scent was lovely and refreshing, I could definitely smell the cucumber.

As to the setting part of it? I find my cheek and eye makeup to last a lot longer with it on. My eyeliner doesn't seem to smear as much and I look much fresher for longer. On the downside... The makeup on my nose just disappears after a few hours, which doesn't happen without the spray.

Do I love it? Not really, it's ok, but I'm still on the look out for an upgrade. Is it worth the purchase? Yes, if you give the spray enough time to dry and you don't mind a touch up or two throughout the day. My eye and cheek makeup has lasted so much longer with this product, unfortunately, my nose makeup cant say the same.

My mom and I went through a whole bottle and now I'm buying another one! Make-up fixer sprays are often drying. I like it because it's like a mist. It holds up in the very humid and warm weather as...

Have the matte magic version of this and for the price, ($6), very good value. Small, no-frills bottle with a sprayer that works though not a fine mist spray. You have to hold this a bit further...

Used this over a chalky-too matte foundation (Revlon Colorstay full cover matte; in a tube) because I didn't like it's unnatural finish (color and coverage and non-oxidizing were pluses--BUT, the...

This product does nothing for me, I do not see that it makes my makeup last longer or keep my face matte. It has a mild scent to it, but I do not find it to be overwhelming. The mist is not as...

I wanted to love this product but for the price was not expecting much of it. When you spray it is not a soft and light mist. It. feel like it's running down on your face. My opinion is You will...

Honestly this product does nothing for me. Sure, the first minutes after applying it, it makes the face slightly dewy and less powdery. But even this effect is not long-lasting. It doesn't extend...

I like this but I don’t love it. Its not horrible. Hasn’t caused a breakout and most definitely makes my fave less powdery. Spray too much and you’ll look dry. The scent isn’t actually as big a...
