Missha m matte lip rouge review năm 2024

Yeah, it looks pretty vibrant there, doesn’t it? I am scared ~ haha. Before I get to the swatches and how I feel about the shade, I want to talk about the texture and its application. This formula is CREAMY smooth ~ it applies beautifully with one swipe and it is heavily pigmented. It applies with a shine that quickly dries down to a real solid matte, so make sure you remove any “mistakes” before it dries down, because this lippie does stain. It really doesn’t have a scent or taste to it.

This is a vibrant peach/coral brown shade. The above photo is actually the underside of my wrist as the top of my hand has some color from the sun. This is a brighter color, but it doesn’t look clownish.

Kiss, Kiss! This is the problem with swatching on your hand or wrist and then wearing it! Not to mention taking a photo that is a different angle from swatch. You can see the peach tones on my lips more than you did on my wrist, as well as how brighter it is. I wasn’t sure about this shade, as I felt it was too peachy for me. However, I wore it to work and I got complements right away ~ so the shade is flattering to my skin tone.

Is it long wearing? I always say that I am the last person you should ask about if a product is long wearing or if I care. I am always eating, drinking, licking my lips and even rubbing my lips, so telling me that a lipstick is long wearing is not a selling point for me. However, I will say this ~ this did not rub off easily and it took either an hour or so after applying OR actually eating something for it to wear off. Like all good matte liquid lippies, this left a nice stain on my lips so I still had some its color, even after it wore off.

Mini Comparison

Missha m matte lip rouge review năm 2024

As my readers know, I love theBalm’s Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipstick. It is long lasting and also tastes fantastic ~ it is a minty-vanilla and I really love it. However, there are those who hate that taste ~ I know, who hates minty-vanilla ~ ahaha ~ so Missha Matt Painting Rouge might be a good substitute. Let’s see how it compares outside of the taste.

I own a couple of theBalm’s Meet Matt(e) and I thought that the shade Committed might be a close dup to Missha’s Think Of You shade. Both Missha and theBalm have a creamy texture that applies with a glossy finish, but quickly dries down to a solid dense, highly pigmented matte finish.

The photo on the left has the shades swatched on the underside of my wrist whereas the photo on the right side are the shades swatched on the top of my hand ~ you can see that the colors are slightly different due to the difference of base color of my skin. Missha Think Of You and theBalm Committed are in the same color family, where Committed is more darker, a bit more cinnamon-y and Missha is brighter with more peach tones than nude-brown tones. I view Committed as the lippie to wear in cooler months and Think Of You for warmer months ~ very summery and fun.

I know has been a lot of days since my last post. But I must confess that February was a very complicated month for me. That without count that I have to record the video review for this product twice because the first time I didn´t like the result of that video. I really hated the light in the video. Thanks to the tons of stress during the previous month I had a breakout and now I am recuperating of that.

I guess is not easy for anyone have a breakout and record videos o take cute pics for reviews is really complicated. And I need to add to that combination the facts that my hormones were crazy the past month and I guess I said that I´ve been presenting problems with my period since November. But I recorded this video again and I decided publish this review because I wanted. So today I am here with this product the MISSHA Matt Painting Rouge.

◉Packaging + Price: This product has a price that goes around to $8 to $10US with shipping included in several online stores. The packaging is very simple but I like the fact that the plastic looks like tempered glass and that is a cute effect. I love it the font in this product is very bold.

◉ Color & Texture: The color is really intense but changes with the light. With cold light is super pink and intense cold barbie pink. With natural outside light the color looks almost fluorescent. With indoor light looks more hot pink but more warm. The texture is between liquid and creamy but more liquid. I like the texture.

Conclusions

Lately the trend has been the matte lips, I´ve seen reviews about matte lip products everywhere and I spent several hours of my week blogging and I always find a post about matte lips. I am not fan of matte lips because I have very dry and chapped lips. But I use everyday lip balm and is a routine care of my lips so I decided try this matte lip product from Missha. First I was very surprised because the color is super intense. MISSHA Matt Painting Rouge provides a very intense color that provides tint after several hours too.

The matte effect happens after few seconds of the application of this product. But I must confess that the application must be with a lip brush because the color is pretty intense and like is creamy but for me the application is not so easy or simple I need be careful and I don´t like the fact that the application requires be patient. This product provides an amazing matte and long lasting effect even when you drink or eat, but after use this product my lips looks even more dry than before even when I used lip balm.

So probably the matte lips are not for me. but something is clear this product provides a very matte and pigmented color for several hours, the problem, dries the lips. And for me chapped lips are not cute. Probably is the fact that I have to work with this product a bit more of usual to make work on my lips but this is not for me. If you are looking very matte effect I recommend this product, I like it this product but I am not going to repurchase. I love it the hot pink color reason because this product has another star but this product dries a lot my lips.
