Peripera ink gelato pink moment review năm 2024

Finally I have got round to trying some of the famous Peripera lip tints! I purchased the Ink Airy Velvet in 04 Pretty Pink and 05 Genius Rosy Pink (yes I like pink lip tints :3). These are the 2019 version which have a new packaging and formula. There is so much hype around these lip tints so I really wanted to try them for myself and see how good they really are!

The Packaging:

The lip tint comes in a pretty frosted bottle which a screw top lid. The bottle is translucent so you can see the colour of the product inside as well as using the colour of the lid for reference. The packaging feels lightweight and sturdy.

The applicator is an angled fluffy brush which collects quite a lot of product on the tip so I usually wipe some off before application.

The Consistency:

The texture of this tint is so smooth, its spreads really easily on the skin and lips. It reminds me of a buttery texture since it is so velvety and has a medium consistency. There is a strong fruity scent which is noticeable when you first apply the tint but fades when it settles down.

Both shades leave a stain which matches the original tint colour. 04 Pretty Pink (on the right) has a stronger stain than 05 Genius Rosy Pink (on the left) and they take about 5 minutes to stain.

The Performance:

Before applying both these tints, I exfoliated and used lip balm on my lips to create a smoother surface and give them a proper test.

04 Pretty Pink:

First off, the shade of the liptint matches the colour of the packaging perfectly. I would describe it as a bright coral pink colour that is cool toned. It looks brighter (more coral) than the shades online (see pics further up).

I applied it onto my lips using the brush applicator, blending it out using my finger. After a couple of minutes, I noticed the lip tint start to settle into the lines on my lips and also collecting in the inner part of my lips. It was not very noticeable in person but when I looked up close in the mirror, I could see it.

After an hour of wearing the tint, it still felt comfortable and non-drying. However I noticed the lines on my lips looked more accentuated, the longer I wore it. After eating and drinking, the tint mostly wore off and left a vibrant pink stain. On reapplication, it applied just the same as the first time – smooth and soft – but began to settle into the lines on my lips again.

05 Genius Rosy Pink

This shade is less vibrant and more neutral toned than 04 Pretty Pink. It is a muted rosy pink shade that works well as an MLBB shade for me. However the actual shade of the product is darker than the colour of the bottle lid which is a lighter pink. It also looks very different from the shades displayed online.

I find this does not settle as much into my lip lines or inside of my lips as much as the other shade. Or it could just be since the colour matches my natural lip colour better, the settling is less obvious (yes, it’s probably that). After 1 hour, my lips still feel comfortable and soft.

Longevity and reapplication are the same as with 04 – fades on eating and drinking and reapplies smoothly. This one leaves a lighter stain behind which matches the original tint colour.

Peripera Ink Airy Velvet lip tints have a comfortable, velvety formula that keeps your lips feeling soft and hydrated. However I noticed they do settle into lines on my lips and the inner part of my lips, even after exfoliation and lip balm, and it looks worse over time. They have a strong sweet smell and the shades I tried do not match the shades advertised online.

I am giving 04 Pretty Pink a 2/5 and 05 Genius Rosy Pink a 3/5 since with 05, the settling is less obvious and it does not collect on the inside of my lips as much.

You might like these if you want a velvety matte finish that does not feel drying and are prepared to exfoliate etc beforehand, but personally I was not impressed with these. Also I would advise reading or watching reviews to get a better idea of the actual shades.
