FIFA World Cup 2023 schedule

The first match of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will kick-off at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday, July 20, 2023, and features co-hosts New Zealand facing Norway.

The tournament is being held in Australia and New Zealand and will conclude with the final at 8pm (AEST) on Sunday, August 20.

The fixtures were drawn on 22nd October, 2022, where 32 qualifiers were divided into their groups.

The World Cup sees the 32 teams divided into eight groups of four, with each side playing a match against the other three opponents in their group.

The top two teams from each of the eight groups at the end of the first stage will advance to the Round of 16.

From there, it’s straight knockout – eight winners advancing to the quarter-finals, then the four winners to the semi-finals, before the final.

Please note all times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time, which will be two hours behind the local New Zealand time for matches played there.
