What should I monitor with pancrelipase?Monitoring of the drug effect and adverse effect profile will be based on clinical symptoms and data, including abdominal symptoms, nutritional intake, weight, growth (in children), stool character, fecal fat. Glucose monitoring is advised if the patient has hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia risk.
Should pancrelipase be taken with food?Take this medicine with meals or snacks and enough liquid to swallow it completely, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. When prescribing this medicine for your condition, your doctor may also prescribe a personal diet for you. Follow the special diet carefully. This is necessary for the medicine to work properly.
